Delhi court granted bail to Shehla Rashid till November 5

Shehla Rashid, leader of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement, who made a controversial tweet against the Indian Army, was granted interim bail by the Patiala House Court in Delhi.

Additional Sessions Judge Pawan Kumar Jain granted relief to Shehla till November 5.

The prosecutor said in court that the police had not received any complaint from the army, and they needed at least six weeks to investigate the matter.

Shehla's lawyer told the court that he was ready to assist the police in the investigation. The judge said in his order that, considering all the facts, I am of the view that the matter needs a detailed investigation.

The matter is scheduled for November 5. There will be no arrest of the accused. And they will have to be involved in the investigation when called by the Investigating Officer.
