Prime Minister Narendra Modi has termed corporate tax cuts as historic, saying that the economic advertisements made for the last few weeks show that the government is doing everything possible to make India a better business.

He reiterated today that the government is committed to expanding the country's economy to five trillion dollars. The reduction in corporate tax is historic and will accelerate the Make in India project and invest in private investment in the country.

On the other hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the Modi government is committed to make the country a major manufacturing hub. The reduction in corporate tax will make India more attractive to investors.

Amit Shah said on Twitter that the Modi government is committed to make India a major manufacturing hub and that advertisements made today and earlier will meet this goal. I congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for making strong decisions.

The Home Minister further said that the government's decision will allow Indian companies to meet the competition globally and attract foreign investors to India.
