The victim of the Unnao rape claimed to be the BJP MLA and the accused of rape, Kuldeep Sanger, behind the road accident.
In a statement to the CBI, the victim said that for some time, Sanger had threatened to kill me. He was the one who caused the accident. The victim's car was hit by a fatal accident in Rae Bareilly on July 28 in which his relatives were killed and himself seriously injured.
The victim is currently being held in the AIIMS ICU. The CBI is investigating the incident. The investigating agency has not yet questioned the victim's lawyer as he was admitted to Lucknow Hospital.
The lawyer is not in a position to make a statement. For this reason, the CBI requested the court to allow some more time to complete the investigation. The court extended him two more weeks.
According to sources, the victim told the investigating agency that the truck came right on us, causing the accident. The victim said in clear words that this accident was done by Sanger and he wanted to kill me. However, Sanger himself said that he was innocent in the accident.
The CBI arrested both the driver and the cleaner of the truck. He said the raid did not take place intentionally. The truck owner said he had never met Sanger. The agency said the investigation is in the final stages.
According to sources, the agency is now waiting for a lawyer to recover. If he is able to speak, then the agency will go for his statement. 40 forensic lab specialists were also involved with the CBI in the investigation.
