Assam will not only remove intruders from all over the country: Amit Shah


Guwahati, Ta. September 9, 2019, Monday

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that those who have been living in the country illegally or have been infiltrated will be deported and sent to the country where they are citizens. Besides, Amit Shah has also said that a special bill, known as the Citizen Reform Bill, will also be introduced for this.

Amit Shah also said that action will be taken against illegal foreigners from all over the country, not just Assam. Amit Shah visited Assam amid NRC controversy. He visited Guwahati here and discussed the situation with party leaders. During which he made this statement.

Amit Shah categorically said that not only Assam, intruders or people living illegally will be expelled from all over India and the central government is working in that direction. The Citizen (Amendment) Bill was passed by the Lok Sabha this year but could not pass it in the Rajya Sabha. In the northeastern states, the bill was dropped because it was opposed.
