New delhi date. 21. Wednesday August 2019

The old Purana planes are disturbed by the Indian Air Force.

Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa raised the issue at a seminar on the Modernization of the Air Force at New Delhi. He said, "We are still flying the 44-year-old MiG-21. This year there is no driver of the old car." Due to maintenance it is possible to fly such old aircraft. Mig aircraft is more than four decades old but is still considered the backbone of the Air Force.

Dhanoa said that hardly any country in the world flies such old planes. We have no alternative. In spite of the adverse situation, Air Force is guarding the border and responding to the enemy's challenges. After the Balakot air strike, the world is Indian. Acknowledging the strength of the Air Force.

However, he said, it is not possible to wait a long time to replace spare parts of old aircraft through indigenous technology.
