Trump prepares to meet Iranian leader Rouhani after the G-7 conference

Talking about Tehran's nuclear program at the G7 summit in France, US President Donald Trump said he is ready to meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in the next few weeks. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohamed Jawad Zarif attended the G-7 summit that surprised people.

I remember the Iranian Foreign Minister coming to the G7 summit with the intervention of French President Macron, and I welcome him, "said US President Donald Trump. He added that he did not want regime change in Tehran. The changing tone of Trump is believed to be a definite reduction in increased tensions between the two countries.

Saeed was surprised when Mohammed Jawad Zarif arrived in France on Sunday to hold talks with French President Amanuel Macron. It is worth mentioning that the President of France has been trying to reach an agreement between the United States and Iran for the past few years.

Zarif met European diplomats, including France. However, Trump said it would be too early to meet Zarif at the present time. Meanwhile, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Zarif's visit to France on state television, "I believe we will do everything possible for the national interest of our country."

According to French diplomats, even though no talks were held between Trump and Iran's Foreign Minister, the presence of Iran's Foreign Minister has softened the attitude of the two countries towards each other. It is worth mentioning that in 2015 the tensions between the two countries began to withdraw from the agreement reached between the United States and Iran last year.

With the withdrawal of the agreement, tensions between the two countries increased as the United States imposed several economic sanctions on Iran. The US also ordered countries in the world not to buy crude oil from Iran and warned them of stern action against countries that did not comply.
