Chidambaram's plea to Supreme Judges not to read sealed cover of ED

Former Finance Minister P.K. Chidambaram did not get relief from the Supreme Court. The apex court rejected Chidambaram's bail application, saying that the petition has no meaning now. The apex court said the plea had become ineffective as the CBI had granted the remand.
Delhi High Court P After Chidambaram's anticipatory bail application was rejected, a bail application was filed in the Supreme Court and a petition was sought for relief from the Supreme Court in protest of the CBI's remand.
In that regard, the apex court had said that the CBI court had already sent Chidambaram to remand, so now the petition has become ineffective. It makes no sense.
At the same time, Chidambaram's expectation for relief from the Supreme Court was a big blow. The apex court had said that if you want to apply against the CBI's remand, then first you have to re-apply to get regular bail.
The Supreme Court asked him to file bail in the lower court. The Supreme Court relieved Chidambaram from ED's arrest. More hearings will be held in the coming days. In the Supreme, Kapil Sibal has argued on behalf of Chidambaram. A sealed cover was awarded to the court on behalf of ED.
On behalf of Chidambaram, Kapil Sibal had said that the court would be fine if he did not read the cover. Because the ED wanted to call Chidambaram and summoned him for questioning. He had not been informed about the issue before.
On the other hand, the CBI court has extended the remand of this senior Congress leader to INX Media on August 30. The CBI sought four more days of remand in the CBI court. The court upheld the demand and sent them to CBI custody for another four days.
Earlier on August 21, the CBI filed a p. Chidambaram was arrested. The court, however, granted Chidambaram's remand until August 26, after appearing in court the next day.
After the expiry of that deadline, the CBI again presented Chidambaram to the court. Chidambaram's wife and his son were present at the court hearing. Now CBI will again appear before Chidambaram before CBI court on August 30.
Kapil Sibal also argued in the court seeking ED's remand. Kapil Sibal said the court could not accept the demand of the investigating agency as ED failed to present the evidence to the court. The judge asked the CBI what Chidambaram had asked in the last four days and what was the result? It
The reply was given by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta on behalf of the CBI. Accepting their arguments, the court approved the four-day remand and told the CBI to report again on August 30.
