On the second day of the removal of Article 370, nothing unpleasant happened in Jammu and Kashmir

(PTI) New Delhi, August 6, 2019, Tuesday

All three regions of Jammu and Kashmir saw perfect peace even today. However, even today, due to the Internet shut down, these areas were still isolated from the world. No details were also known about former chief minister Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and People's Conference leader Sajjad Loan, who were arrested in Srinagar on Monday evening.

News of the unpleasant incident was not reported from anywhere in the state. Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh from Srinagar said that till now the law and security situation in the state is under control.

Srinagar deputy commissioner of police Shahid Iqbal Chowdhury said that despite strict sanctions, people are being allowed to exit for emergency work. Meanwhile, Farak Abdullah told reporters in Srinagar that "we will exit when the banning orders are removed."
