Senior BJP leader and former finance minister Arun Jaitley has been battling ailments like cancer from kidney failure and has been leading to death. However, after the demise of fellow leader Sushma Swaraj, he collapsed and did not come out alive after being admitted to the AIIMS due to health problems.

Arun Jaitley's health had deteriorated several times. However, he bravely fought against every disease, and as he recovered, politics continued to contribute. But despite a fever in 2018, he attended a party rally in Lucknow.

However, upon his return from Delhi, upon inquiry, he found that his kidney had failed and required a transplant. He and his wife Sangita's large family had many relatives willing to donate a kidney and she had a kidney transplant. He stayed away from his duties as finance minister from April to August following the acute risk of infection in the early days of extradition.

However, they were facing greater risk. Earlier this year, he succumbed to cancer, a fatal form of cancer. As soon as this diagnosis was made by Aimes doctors, at the expense of his family, he went to Sloan Catering Hospital in New York and removed the cancer cell.

In April again, his health deteriorated to find that the sarcoma cancer had spread to the lungs. He traveled to the United States for a week during the election campaign. His body did not respond well to repeated chemotherapy. By the end of July, the bulk of the tumor was removed and only a few cancer cells were left.

Jaitley had hoped for a long time before defeating cancer and returning to the political front. But on August 6, the accidental fund of his colleague Sushma Swaraj gave him a severe shock. At that time he wrote that I had run away. Later on August 9, Jaitley was admitted to the AIIMS following a complaint of blood pressure rising and shortness of breath. But he progressively passed away in an unconscious state and eventually died on August 24th.
