New delhi date. August 5, 2019, Monday

Article 5 has been abolished by the central government. Following this, the Union Home Ministry has now issued a notification to all states and union territories to be alert.

The Central Government has informed the States and the Union Territories that the State Government has been instructed to take maximum security measures in the State, wherever possible, to enhance security wherever sensitive areas and places are located.

In a notification issued by the central government, it is said that if possible the state should pay special attention to areas that are extremely sensitive, to ensure that there is no breach of peace under any circumstances. For this reason, the state government should give such orders to the police and agencies of the state.

Explaining why security is needed, the Central Government has taken several important decisions regarding Jammu and Kashmir. In the midst of this situation, there is also the possibility of abuse by any antisocial elements at any time of the time. State and Union Territories are therefore advised to remain alert.
