Floods kill one in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Goa, over 50 thousand migrants

Heavy rains are raining in many states in the country. Karnataka is currently facing the worst situation, with heavy rainfall due to the rains here which resulted in the death of one person. Due to the heavy rainfall in Maharashtra, the water is going to Karnataka, which is due to the flood situation in many parts of Karnataka.

According to police, a 25-year-old boy has died in Belagavi. Goa is also receiving heavy rainfall, as a result many people were trapped on the island of Diwan near Panaji.

Locals also shared videos of the floods here on social media showing the water being seen. Vehicles are trapped in some other places. About eight buses are trapped near Karnataka with many passengers aboard. In one of the videos, some travelers are claiming that we have been trapped here for four days.

After Goa and Karnataka, Maharashtra is also in critical condition, the worst is in Kolhapur and Sangli, where around 50,000 locals have been shifted to safer places.

The power supply has been shut down in Kolhapur with 85,000 houses, the move was filled with security concerns. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis spoke to the Karnataka Chief Minister and requested that water be drained in Karnataka so that flood situation in Maharashtra would not be raised and relief in areas like Sangli. The flood situation in Odisha is getting worse.

Red alert has been issued in about eight districts of Odisha. The Meteorological Department predicts heavy to heavy rains in several areas. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in Odisha, one of the states along the coast. It is advisable for any fisherman not to go fishing due to the recent floods and heavy rains and thunderstorms.

Heavy rains are forecast in about five to six districts of Odisha. In West Bengal, the same is the case with Odisha, where it is advised not to go fishing for the next four days as heavy to heavy rains are forecast till August 10th.
