Two prize naxalites were killed in a police encounter in Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district, a clash broke out between police and Maoists in the early hours on Sunday, in which two naxalites were killed including one woman.

Dantewada police superintendent Abhishek Pallawa told the incident that a clash took place between the Maoists and the police at the time when the district force came out for anti-Naxal campaign in the jungle area of ​​the village of Gohiypal village, 400 km from Raipur.

Police have arrested a suspected woman Naxalite from the scene and she has been named as Kosa during the investigation. In addition to this, the search operation is still being carried out by the security forces in the area and proceedings against other Naxalites have been conducted.

In the clash between the Maoists and the security force, heavy firing from both of them killed two prize money of five lakhs of Maoists. After the encounter, the bodies of two Maoists and Ma'gali alias Muhi, were found in the scene of the incident and 303 rifles and muscular loading guns were found.

There were active members of the Malangir Area Committee of deceased Deb and Maoist Maoists and the prize of Rs. 5 lakhs was announced on each of them.
