Three people, including two civilians, died in a building in Solan in Himachal Pradesh

Three people, including two people, were killed and 23 were injured in a four-storey building collapsed in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, an official of the district said.

There was also a restaurant in the building on the Nahan-Kumarhati road, and the heavy rains in the area fell as it fell raw, he added. Two soldiers and one civilian were killed in the incident.

The district official said that 37 people were trapped in this tragedy, out of which 23 were rescued and two bodies were recovered from the debris. Many of the survivors were seriously injured due to which they were shifted to the hospital. Still 12 were trapped in the debris.

The injured were 18 Indian soldiers. The Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and the police were involved in rescue operations. Apart from this, the National Disaster Management Team has also been called from Panchkula, Haryana, an official said. Indian soldiers and their families came to the restaurant to take food.
