The extortionist demanded Rs 1 lakh from the family. The caller told him that his son has been kidnapped. Along with this, he threatened to sell his kidney.
Abdul's father, Mohammad Salim, was threatened by drug dealers based in Cleveland last week. The abductors demanded $1,200, roughly Rs 1 lakh, for his release. After receiving the extortion threat, Abdul's parents informed their relatives in America and they filed a police complaint.
