Another Indian student kidnapped in America, calls parents and demands $1200 ransom

One disaster after another is befalling Indian students in America. Recently, a number of Indian students have died in America and now there are reports that 25-year-old Abdul Mohammad, who is studying IT at Cleveland University in America, has gone missing.

Abdul is a resident of Hyderabad and was reported missing by his family since March 7. What is more shocking is that an unknown person has called Abdul's father Mohammed Salim and threatened that we have kidnapped Abdul and send $1200 to see him safe. The caller identified himself as a member of a drug-dealing gang in Cleveland.

The caller also said that if the money is not sent immediately, we will sell Abdul's kidney. After receiving this kind of threat, Abdul's relatives living in America informed the police. The police have now started searching for Abdul.

Abdul's family also went to the Indian consulate in Chicago on March 18 and sought help in locating Abdul. However, no address of Abdul has been found yet.
