The offspring of UAE women who marry a foreigner will get citizenship

The United Arab Emirates has made an important decision regarding women's empowerment. Children of women who marry a foreign man will also get UAE citizenship. Earlier this right was given only to men. The UAE's reformist decision is being welcomed.
Until now, the UAE had a law that if a UAE man married a foreign woman, his children would have the right to education and health in addition to UAE citizenship. Such a law was not for women. If a woman in the UAE married a foreign man, her children would not get education, health or citizenship. Now the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahya has announced an important decision. Accordingly, if women marry a foreign man, their children will get the same rights as male citizens. Even after a woman marries a foreigner, her children will get UAE citizenship and basic rights. The UAE government has welcomed such an important decision regarding equality. People said the decision was taken in a timely manner. In today's changing times, women should have the same rights as men. The Ministries responsible for enforcing the rules relating to the Vice President and President of the UAE have been notified immediately.
The issue was rife on social media in the UAE. The trend followed the name of the scheme on Twitter. The announcement was made under a government scheme called Wem. People said that this decision should have been taken long ago, but despite the delay, the initiative is welcome. Welcome to the 21st Century!
