2 killed, 7 injured in UP collision with Eco Van truck coming to Haryana

In Haryana's Sonipat district, there was a resurgence of speed today. A tragic accident has taken place near Jakholi toll on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway passing through Sonipat. There, an eco-van carrying Haryana laborers from Uttar Pradesh collided with a truck. Two workers were killed on the spot and seven others were injured in the tragic accident.

The deceased laborers have been identified as Raghavendra and Chhedalal Pilibhit of Uttar Pradesh. All the laborers were coming to Goha to plant paddy. Police from Sonipat Kundli police station rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported. Police have seized both the bodies and sent them to a general hospital for postmortem. The injured were referred from Sonipat to Rohtak and Khanpur PGI. Police at Sonipat Kundli police station are currently investigating the accident.
