Britain is witnessing the biggest rail strike in 30 years. As many as 50,000 railway workers went on strike at the same time, disrupting public life. Millions of passengers were stranded. According to the railway department, most of the trains were closed. The Metro had the same situation. Only five percent of the trains ran.
Railway services in Britain were closed for three consecutive days after three decades as railway workers went on strike demanding pay rises, job security, working conditions and more. British Prime Minister Boris Jones appealed to the union leader to resolve the issue through dialogue. Union leader Mick Lynch said railway workers would not back down from their demands this time. The demands of these workers who acted as frontline workers during the Corona epidemic should be accepted. He threatened the government that if the demand was still rejected, there would be more agitation.
