Rahul Gandhi appeared before the ED, in several custody including Gehlot-Ranjan

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reached the ED office following a summons issued by the ED in a money laundering case. A show of strength has been organized by the Congress in protest.

Several leaders in custody

Congress workers and leaders protesting outside the ED office have been taken into custody. Congress leaders Rajni Patil, Akhilesh Prasad Singh, L Hanumantaiya and Thirunavukkarsar Su have been taken into custody for protesting. Earlier, Randeep Surjewala, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, Casey Venugopal, Dipendra Singh Hooda, Ashok Gehlot and others were also taken into custody.

The Congress workers who are protesting outside the ED office are being picked up and some are being remanded in custody. Rahul Gandhi's statement will be recorded under section 50 of the PMLA. 3 officers will interrogate Rahul Gandhi. In it, the officers of Assistant Director rank will question Rahul while another officer will type Rahul's statement. In addition, the Deputy Direct Rank Officer will supervise the questions.

Before such a question-and-answer session, the ED swears that whatever is said will be true. Rahul Gandhi will also be sworn in in this manner.

Besides, several Congress leaders were house arrested before Rahul Gandhi reached the ED office. Aradhana Mishra Mona and Naseemuddin, leaders of the Congress Legislative Party, were house arrested in Lucknow. In Delhi, Alka Lamba was stopped by police outside her home.

In this regard, Robert Vadra, through a Facebook post, expressed confidence that Rahul Gandhi would be acquitted of all baseless allegations and the truth would prevail.

Thousands of Congress supporters who accompanied Rahul Gandhi to the ED office have been detained there. The notice sent by the Congress to Rahul and Sonia Gandhi is being opposed. The Congress has dubbed the demonstration today 'Satyagraha'.

Sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also present along with Rahul Gandhi who arrived at the ED office. The car in which Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were traveling has reached inside the ED office. While the workers have been stopped by barricading about one km away.

Rahul Gandhi had earlier walked from the Congress office to reach the ED but was stopped by the Delhi Police.
