- Javed Ahmed, state general secretary of the Welfare Party of India, was arrested in connection with Friday's violence.

New delhi date. 13 June 2022, Monday

A case of bulldozer demolition of Javed Ahmed's house in Prayagraj has been registered. A group of lawyers has written a letter to the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court regarding it. Javed is not the owner of the house that was demolished, the lawyers said. The house is named after Javed's wife. It is against the law to demolish a house. The accused's wife was not informed in advance about the illegal construction.

Javed Ahmed, the state general secretary of the Welfare Party of India, was arrested in connection with the violence on Friday. On the other hand, his luxurious house has been demolished by Prayagraj Development Authority. The action was taken by the Tantra on charges of illegal construction. A notice was posted outside Javed's house before the proceedings.

The notice issued by the Prayagraj Development Authority said that illegal construction has been carried out in the ground floor and first floor without seeking the expected permission from the development authority. That is why you were given a show cause notice under section 27 (1) of the 1973 Act and its hearing was fixed for May 24. But in the meantime neither you nor your party came to the hearing. A demolition order was therefore passed on May 25.

Sanjay Khatri, DM, Prayagraj, said that the district administration and PDA had taken action against Javed Mohammad's house as per the rules. Before the proceedings, it was learned that Javed Mohammad's house was built against the rules. It is for this reason that the act of demolition has been carried out by the PDA today. All those whose homes do not meet the PDA criteria will be prosecuted.

SP Ajay Kumar said that Javed Mohammad alias Javed Pump was involved in the violence on the 10th. His home has been prosecuted by the PDA. Some posters and banners were also found in his house. All these documents will be examined.
