Pakistan: Attempt to install spy device in Imran Khan's bedroom amid murder rumors

Amid rumors of the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, an attempt was made to spy on him today. An employee of Bani Gala was trying to install a spy device in Imran Khan's room. The employee was reportedly paid to install the device in the former prime minister's bedroom. However another employee reported it to the security team and the espionage attempt was foiled.

The Bani Gala security forces took the employee into custody on a tip-off that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan was trying to spy on them. Security forces handed him over to federal police. The incident comes amid rumors of a plot to assassinate former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. Earlier, security agencies in the vicinity of Bani Gala in the city were placed on high alert in view of the alleged threat.

Risk to Imran Khan's life

Imran Khan's life is in danger, according to claims made by several PTI members. PTI leader Shahbaz Gill said he had informed the concerned agencies, including the government, about the spying incident. According to the claim made by Gill, the employee is cleaning the room of the former PM. He was paid to install a spy device. The arrested employee has made a number of disclosures that have not yet been made public.
