Following in the footsteps of Ukraine, civilians in Taiwan are also being taught to wield weapons.

Taiwan fears that China may take military action against Ukraine, just as Russia did. Not only the Taiwanese government but also many people have doubts about China. Taiwan understands that if China invades Taiwan, it will have to fight a war of survival. Hundreds of people are taking part in rifle training. Citing history, China has for years considered Taiwan as its own, while Taiwan considers itself the real China.

Since China does not approve of this, it wants to subdue Taiwan in any way under the One China policy. Max Chiang, chief executive officer at the Polar Light Training Center near Taiwan's capital, Taipei, said many people who have never held a gun in their lives come. They now look forward to training. Over the past three months, there has been a growing interest in small arms training in Taiwan.

According to a Reuters report, all kinds of professionals and artists want to specialize in shooting. A large section of Taiwanese countries are concerned about the situation in Ukraine. Lin Ping Yu, a leader of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party, said that in the event of a war, the government would start collecting rations and other necessities of life.
