New Delhi: Rains are expected in Maharashtra, Karnataka and some parts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh in the next two days. But Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and central India are still not likely to see a drop in temperature.

Giving this information, the meteorological department said on Thursday evening that Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) are likely to receive rains by June 9. Earlier, the meteorological department said that if the speed of the monsoon continues, the rains will start soon but now the speed of the monsoon has returned to normal.

According to meteorological scientists, rains will spread over Goa, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and some parts of Tamil Nadu in the next two days. Because the speed of monsoon has been normal and favorable. Therefore, it is likely to rain in Delhi on June 9.

In the Bay of Bengal, the west, central and northern regions of the monsoon, Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Meghalaya and sub-Himachal Pradesh. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in Bengal. West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar will receive less rainfall.

However, temperatures in Central India are not expected to drop much. Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Central India, South Uttar Pradesh, North-West, Rajasthan, Inner Odisha and Jharkhand are also likely to experience 'Loo' as the mercury drops by 3-4 degrees.
