The heat started early this year

Last Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 46.7 degrees Celsius at the automated season station of the sports complex near Akshardham temple in Delhi. The maximum temperatures at Nafzgarh, Mungeshpur, Pitampura and Ridge season centers were recorded at 46.4 degrees Celsius, 46.2 degrees Celsius, 45.8 degrees Celsius and 45.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
