Decision of the Government of Maharashtra: Aurangabad is now Sambhajinagar, then the name of Osmanabad has also changed

The Uddhav government has made a big decision amidst turmoil in politics in Maharashtra and trying to save its seat. There has been a long-standing demand for renaming the city of Aurangabad. The solution of which has come in this meeting. The Cabinet has approved the naming of Aurangabad city as 'Sambhajinagar'. In this meeting, the Congress demanded to change the name of Pune to Jijabai Nagar.

The name of Navi Mumbai International Airport has also been changed, allowing it to be renamed as the late DB Patil International Airport. So the name of Osmanabad city has been changed to Dharashiv.

The governor has asked to face the floor test on Thursday. But the Shiv Sena has challenged the decision in the Supreme Court. If the Supreme Court does not rule in favor of the party, Uddhav Thackeray will have to lose his seat.

Meanwhile, after the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said, "I am grateful to you for your cooperation for two and a half years. If I have made any mistake in these two and a half years, I would have apologized for the insult."

Apart from this, the cabinet meeting thanked all the ministers for their support in running the government for the last two and a half years. "You have sided with me on the other side but my own men have stabbed me in the back," he said. Only Shiv Sena men have betrayed us.
