An agitated customer shot the employee if he added too much mayonnaise to the sandwich

Millions of people around the world fill their stomachs every day by eating sandwiches, which have become a global food like burgers and pizza.

However, this is probably the first time that a restaurant employee has lost his life because of a sandwich in Atlanta, USA.

According to media reports, the employee made the sandwich after a customer arrived at a sandwich outlet in Atlanta and placed an order. However, the customer was so enraged by the excess mayonnaise in the sandwich that he started arguing with the staff.

The matter escalated to the point that he opened fire inside the outlet, killing a female employee. Another employee was injured.

"It's true that the quarrel started with too much mayonnaise, but I'm surprised that someone takes someone's life just because there's too much mayonnaise in the sandwich," Willie Glenn, the outlet's owner, told a news channel. The manager present on duty also had a gun but he did not shoot at the customer.

Police are now searching for the shooter.
