700 militants at POK training center, 150 ready to infiltrate India: Army issues alert

The festive season is about to begin in India and many conspiracies are being hatched in Pakistan to break the deadlock again. A warning about this has been given by the intelligence.

The Indian Army on Saturday said that despite a ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC), 500-700 militants are currently undergoing training in training camps in Kashmir and about 150 militants are waiting at launchpads to infiltrate the Kashmir Valley.

An army official in Kashmir said 500 to 700 militants were present at three training camps at Manshera, Kotli and Muzaffarabad on the edge of the LOC. An army official said on condition of anonymity that "about 150 terrorists are ready to infiltrate the valley in front of the launchpad."

"No infiltration into Kashmir has been successful till the end of May," the army official said. After this, the terrorists are using alternative routes to enter the Indian border. The focus is now on the south of Pir Panjal to deal with the infiltration, and there are reports that some people may be infiltrating through Nepal.

The possibility of intrusion is still there, the official said. Yet fencing on the LOC, security forces ’squinting and surveillance equipment have reduced the incidence of intrusions. He further said that due to strict measures taken at the Line of Control and vigilance, terrorists are looking for alternative routes for infiltration.

"The purpose of the terrorists is to provoke or provoke the security forces or to instill fear in the people," the official said. Apart from this, they are scrambling to carry out terrorist activities in the coming festive season to disrupt the colors of the general public in India.
