Death of Prabhakar, witness of cruise ship drugs party, due to Aryan Khan

Preliminary investigations revealed that he had died of a heart attack

The NCB had claimed Rs 25 crore to release Aryan

MUMBAI: Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the cruise rave party case of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood tycoon Shah Rukh Khan, has died. Preliminary inquiries revealed that Prabhakar died of a heart attack in Mumbai yesterday.

The NCP had demanded that the state government conduct a CID probe into the matter. Last year, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) nabbed Aryan Khan and other accused after busting a rave party on a cruise ship near Mumbai. Meanwhile drugs, cash were seized.

Kiran Gosavi's bodyguard Prabhakar Sail, a key witness in the controversial case, had leveled serious allegations against Samir Wankhede, the then Mumbai zonal director of the NCB. The NCB had demanded Rs 25 crore from Shah Rukh Khan to release Aryan.

While Sameer Wankhede was to get Rs 8 crore. Witness Prabhakar's claim in such a case had created a sensation. Wankhede had signed nine to ten blank papers and Prabhakar also said his life was in danger.

However, Wankhede denied the allegations, saying they were false. "I was with Kiran Gosavi after the raid on the cruise ship," said Prabhakar Sail, who had earlier briefed the NCB on the proceedings. All the accused were brought to the NCB office at 12.30 pm.
