Dehradun: Religious leaders of Haridwar have decided to appear before the Supreme Court in a case of giving provocative speeches in the Parliament of Religions. It is pertinent to mention that this religion parliament has been accused of making provocative statements against Muslims in this religion parliament.

Swami Darshan Bharti, a member of the core committee of the group of religious leaders, said a public interest litigation would be filed in the Supreme Court soon. It may be mentioned that Swami Darshan Bharti attended the meeting of this committee.

Rejecting allegations of making provocative statements against Muslims in Parliament, Bharti said, "We have not said anything against Muslims." The remarks were made against Islamic Jihad. Meanwhile, the group has decided to go ahead with its decision to hold a resistance yajna on January 16 in Haridwar.

The resistance yajna will be held from December 17 to 19 in Haridwar in protest of an FIR lodged against religious gurus participating in the Dharma Parliament for allegedly making provocative statements. "We have decided to move ahead with the issue of banning the entry of Muslims in Har Ki Paari and Panch Puri Nagar Panchayats," he added.
