The Taliban government in Afghanistan has launched a campaign against the sale of alcohol in the country. On Sunday, intelligence agents dumped 3,000 liters of alcohol into a Kabul sewer. His video has also been shared so that the illicit liquor dealers understand that the Taliban will not release them.

The video was released by the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI). In it, GDI agents are seen pouring liquor in drums into the gutters. The liquor was seized during raids in Kabul. The arrested liquor sellers were handcuffed and kept there.

The intelligence agency posted the video on Twitter on Sunday. At the same time, an Afghan intelligence official warned that Muslims must refrain from producing and supplying alcohol in the country.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. According to a GDI statement, three liquor dealers were arrested during the arrest operation.

The consumption and sale of alcohol in Afghanistan was also banned during the previous Western-backed government, but the Taliban has taken a hard line against it because it considers itself a staunch supporter of Islam. After seizing power in the country on August 15, the Islamic government has launched a nationwide raid campaign against the sale of alcohol.
