A French magazine published a cartoon about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the pioneer of Islam, in a (reckless) move to spread violence once again. In 2015, the same magazine Shirley Abdo published cartoons about the Prophet Muhammad. Even then there were violent incidents.

Fourteen staff members of the magazine were killed in the violence. The magazine once again published cartoons about the Prophet Muhammad as the case against the accused arrested by the police was about to start. A subsequent attack in Paris killed five people. Then came the terrorist attacks across France.

Dozens of cartoons were reprinted on the cover of the magazine, the first being published by a Danish magazine. One such cartoon depicts a bomb placed on the head of Hazrat Muhammad instead of a turban. Wrote in the French headline- so much (violence) for one cartoon! Known as a comedy magazine, the magazine wrote in its editorial that after the events of 2015, readers were constantly demanding that the cartoon be republished. But we did not disclose that. It was not because they were banned from publishing. In terms of the law we could republish these cartoons. But we believed that there was a good purpose behind its publication. When the case of the terrorist attack in January 2015 was about to start, we felt the need to publish this cartoon, so we re-published it.

French President Emmanuel Macron declined to comment on the cartoons published in the satirical magazine.
