Islamabad, Ta. 13

In Pakistan, Jamaat-e-Islami president Sirajul Haq has called Imran Khan an international beggar. Haq said on Sunday that the departure of Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan was the only solution to the country's economic crisis.

Addressing a gathering before the local body elections in Lahore, he demanded fresh elections in the country. He also criticized the Imran government over rising oil prices. He said that Imran Khan and Pakistan could not work together.

On Pakistan's controversial deal with the IMF, Sirajul Haque has said that Pakistan's Prime Minister has become an international beggar. He also said that the current PTI-led government was incapable of governing the country.

It may be mentioned that Pakistan is facing a serious financial crisis in recent days due to which Imran Khan is being criticized by the Opposition.

Meanwhile, the opposition has refused to pass the Finance (Supplementary) Bill, 2021 and the State Bank of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill, 2021 to meet the conditions of the IMF.

The JI president said the ruling government claimed to be the champion of the economy but nothing had changed.
