Beijing, Ta. 18. January. 2022 Tuesday

A Chinese passenger has reportedly spent Rs 4 crore for a bottle of rare Japanese whiskey at Turkey's Istanbul airport.

This bottle of whiskey was put up for sale in a duty free shop at the airport. Very few bottles of this 55 year old whiskey were put on the market at that time. This whiskey is known as Chamajaki.

According to a media report, the bottle has been on sale at the Duty Free Shop for the past one year. Some customers were invited to bid for the rare bottle.

A Chinese man left seven others behind and bid કરોડ 40 million for whiskey. Housewife Suntori, a Japanese whiskey company, said the whiskey smelled like sandalwood.

The 55-year-old whiskey is as calm and mysterious as a Buddhist statue, a company official said.
