Boat sinks in Bihar, 24 farmers suspected to be stranded, two bodies found

A boat capsized in the Gandak river in Bihar's Gopalganj district in a major accident.

In which 24 farmers are suspected to have drowned. These farmers were crossing the river in Gopalganj district to cultivate. It is suspected that the boat capsized in the middle of the river and they drowned. Reached the shore and saved lives.

It is said that the boat was on a tractor.

Meanwhile, two bodies have been recovered. The whole area is in mourning after the incident. Authorities including police have reached the spot and search for the drowned people has been started.
