Bathinda: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's convoy faced heavy opposition in Punjab. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally was to be held in Ferozepur, Punjab, with which Prime Minister Modi was to launch the BJP's election campaign in Punjab. However, before Modi's convoy reached Ferozepur, it had to face the protesting farmers. PM Modi's convoy was stopped by farmers on a flyover along the road. Following which, Modi's convoy was stopped for 30 minutes. Later, PM Modi's rally had to be canceled. On the other hand, PM Modi told Punjab officials to thank the Chief Minister for allowing me to arrive at the airport alive.

On the other hand, media reports claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very upset over this incident. "Thanks to your CM, I was able to reach Bhatinda airport alive," he told Punjab officials, targeting Punjab Chief Minister Channy. However, according to information received, protests were going on since morning at the rally where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to address a rally in Ferozepur. Questions are also being raised as to why the information about this did not reach the agencies and there are claims that a big mistake has been made in the security of PM Modi.

A statement issued by the Home Ministry said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reached Bathinda in Punjab this morning. From there they were later flown by helicopter to the National Martyrs' Memorial in Hussainiwala. However, due to rain and low light, PM Modi had to wait for 30 minutes. However, as the sky was not clear, PM Modi chose to go by car instead of helicopter. Which took about two hours. There are reports that PM Modi's convoy came across a flyover when it was 50 km from the National Martyrs' Memorial. Which was stopped by the protesting people. So Modi's convoy was stuck on this flyover for 15 to 20 minutes. The Home Ministry also believed that there was a big mistake in PM Modi's security.

The BJP, on the other hand, accused the Punjab Congress government of failing to provide security. BJP minister Smriti Irani held a press conference and alleged that the murderous intentions of the Congress in Punjab had failed. Those who hate Prime Minister Modi have become active in the direction of how the security of the PM can be breached. Punjab Police had assured that the PM's convoy would not be obstructed on the way, though this was a kind of lie. How did those who violated PM's security get access to PM's car? While BJP president J.P. Nadda said the Punjab chief minister was called for security but did not pick up the phone. Congress wants to obstruct Modi's rally in Punjab.

With Modi's seats vacant, BJP slams security: Congress

In Punjab, PM Modi's convoy was stranded for 20 minutes following the protest, although the BJP claimed that the Punjab police had a major flaw in PM Modi's security.

In response, the Congress claimed that the BJP could not gather the crowd at the rally for which Modi was going. The chairs were left empty and the blame was being shifted to security. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that while farmers were protesting, PM Modi should maintain the dignity of his position and reflect on the protests of farmers. The decision to go by road was not decided in advance, Modi himself had decided to go by road.

How PM Modi's impenetrable security convoy travels

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's security is the safest in the country. Whose responsibility has been delegated to the SPG. SPG operates in four ways: operations, training, intelligence and tours, as well as administration. PM Modi travels in bulletproof Range Rover, Mercedes and BMW 20LI. Recently, a Mercedes limousine was included in Modi's fleet. Along with Modi's car, two similar dummy cars also run. There is also a jammer with an antenna attached.

In which if any explosion is hidden at a distance of 100 meters on the road, its information is found. In front of the PM's convoy are state police vehicles. The local police are the ones who inform the SPG about the road ahead. There are always two alternative routes in advance for the convoy to go.
