New Delhi: With the onset of December 1, the common man has been hit by inflation. State-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) have hiked the price of commercial LPG by Rs 100. As a result, the price of a commercial gas cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 2,101. In Delhi, the price of a cylinder of commercial gas was Rs 1.2 on October 31.

The price of a commercial LPG cylinder had gone up to Rs 2,000.50 on November 1. This was an increase of Rs 2.50. On December 1, it has increased by another Rs 100. Now it costs Rs 2,101 to refill a cylinder in Delhi.

Rising prices for commercial cylinders can make eating out more expensive. The OMC had earlier hiked the price of commercial gas cylinders in September and October. The price of a 15-kg commercial gas cylinder was hiked by Rs 3 on September 1 and by Rs 5 on October 1. The relief with the hike is that state-owned companies have not changed the price of a 12.5-kg domestic LPG cylinder. In Delhi, the price of a gas cylinder remains unchanged at Rs 2.50. In Kolkata, it is Rs 8, in Mumbai it is Rs 2.50 and in Chennai it is Rs 319.50.

In Kolkata, the price of a commercial gas cylinder has gone up by Rs 101 to Rs 5,12.5 and in Mumbai it has gone up to Rs 8,031. In Chennai too, the price of a commercial gas cylinder has gone up by Rs 101 from Rs 5,15 to Rs 5 following a price hike.
