Most corona vaccines are ineffective against omicron, except for Pfizer and Moderna.

Most vaccines in the world may fail to prevent the omnicron variant infection of the rapidly growing corona. This is based on a preliminary research study. About 90% of people who have been vaccinated in India are also at risk of omicron. However, the good news is that vaccinators here are less likely to have a serious omikron infection. People with common symptoms will become infected.

Research was conducted in Britain on how effective vaccines from different countries are on immunoconstrictors. According to the study, only Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are capable of preventing the transmission of omicron. However, this will require a booster dose of the vaccine. However both of these vaccines are not available in most countries of the world.

In the case of India, six months after the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine was administered, it did not have the ability to prevent omikron transmission. About 90% of people in India have taken this vaccine in the name of Covishield. Six and a half million doses of the vaccine have also been distributed in Africa. According to the research, vaccines made in Johnson & Johnson, Russia and China are also ineffective or less effective in preventing omicron. However, since the same vaccine has been given in most of the countries of the world, a new wave may come.

Ramanan Laxminarayan, who works as a public health researcher in Delhi, said that the transition to Omicron in India would be faster but India would be safer with large-scale vaccinations and earlier large numbers of people being infected.

The reason behind the effectiveness of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines against Omicron is that they are both based on mRNA (a vaccine-making method to prevent infection) technique. Vaccines made with this technique have shown good resistance to all variants of Corona. While all other vaccines are made using the old method.
