State status for Jammu and Kashmir only after killing of Hindus stops: BJP

In 2019, Article 370 of the Constitution was removed

The selective killings show the failure of the central government and the state administration: Omar

Jammu / Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir's statehood will be restored at a time when the killing of selected people will be stopped and people will be able to compete freely in the state, Jammu and Kashmir BJP general secretary Ashok Kaul told reporters in Bandipora district of north Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Omar Abdullah, vice-president of the National Conference, said that the killing of select people was a failure of the central government and the Jammu and Kashmir administration.

It may be recalled that on August 5, 2019, the Central Government repealed Article 370 of the Constitution giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir and divided the state into two Union Territories, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Kaul further said that the BJP was concerned over the killing of select people in Kashmir. He further said that BJP workers were also being targeted and killed. He further added that some Muslims were also being targeted in the killings. We strongly condemn such killings.
