One more Maharashtra leader's turn will come in money laundering case, BJP leader blasted

Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh is in the custody of the ED in a money laundering case. In this case, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has targeted Shiv Sena and NCP.

"Anil Deshmukh has been arrested and it will be the turn of other leaders," Somaiya said.

Following the arrest of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in a money laundering case, the ED has now summoned his son Hrishikesh Deshmukh for questioning. He is said to have been asked to appear before the ED on Friday.

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh had written a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in which he claimed that Anil Deshmukh had asked Sachin Waje to collect Rs 100 crore every month.

The case has since been investigated by the ED. The ED has arrested Anil Deshmukh in the case and he is in the custody of the ED till November 6.
