Advice to follow covid rules such as vaccination and wearing a mask to avoid corona

Mumbai: Covid vaccine Covishield and Covacin Botswana form Omicron (B.1.1.259), the latest form of coronavirus infection (infection) can prevent the patient's hospitalization or death, say virologists and infectious disease experts.

Raman Gangakhedekar, a former head of the Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases department at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and a senior scientist, said it was "theoretically possible" that the effectiveness of the Omicron vaccine might not be compromised. But we do know that the vaccines available there prevent hospitalization and death due to covid.

To prevent infection with various forms of corona, people must take two doses of the vaccine, especially the rules of covid, such as wearing a mask. Gangakhedekar is a member of a 26-member team commissioned by the World Health Organization to study the origin of corona-like pathogens.
