Modi government's vehicle in reverse gear, millions of families forced to light stoves due to rising gas prices: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi has taken up the issue of rising LPG cylinders with the Center.

"The car of PM Modi's development is running in reverse gear," he said, citing a media report. The brakes of the development vehicle have also failed.

According to a media report quoted by Rahul Gandhi, 42 per cent households have started using wood for cooking after the rise in gas prices.

At present, the price of a non-subsidized gas cylinder goes up to Rs 899.
