Lakhimpur violence: Forensic report reveals firing from Union Minister's son's gun

A forensic lab investigation into the Lakhimpur violence has confirmed the firing.

According to forensic reports, Ashish Mishra, son of Union Home Minister Ajay Mishra, and his close associate Ankit Das were fired from a licensed revolver during the incident.

During the violence, farmers were crushed under a jeep and at the same time, the farmers alleged that the firing was carried out by BJP leaders.

For his investigation, Lakhimpur police seized Ankit Das's repeater gun, pistol and Ashish Mishra's rifle and revolver and sought his forensic report. Was not yet clear.

The plight of Ashish Mishra and his accomplice Ankit Das, who are currently lodged in jail, could be exacerbated by the report.

Violence erupted during a recent farmers' rally in Lakhimpur. Four farmers and a journalist were killed on the spot after farmers were crushed under a jeep, after which the farmers killed three workers.

It is alleged that the farmers were crushed by the jeep in the presence of Ashish Mishra.
