Jammu and Kashmir Police DGP Dilbag Singh said on Friday that Pakistan was supplying large quantities of drugs across the border with the intention of funding terrorism in the valley and pushing our youth on the path of terrorism. Singh was speaking during a special training of Jammu and Kashmir police officers with the NCB.

He targeted Pakistan on Thursday, citing 52 kg of heroin seized from the Jajar Kotli area and other drugs seized from Poonch, Baramulla and other border areas.

The DGP also spoke of tightening the noose on interstate drug supply and rackets. During the program, Singh thanked NCB President SN Pradhan for providing faculty for special training of Jammu and Kashmir police officers.

"The aim of this training program is to enhance the investigative skills and capacity of our police in the case of NDPS," he said. He also explained why and how this training program is so necessary.

It is not new that Pakistan is trying to fund terrorism and try to push innocent youth into terrorism. However, after the abolition of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, infiltration has not been easy for Pakistan. Besides, the security forces have also been given a free hand on terrorism. When infiltration on the border becomes difficult for Pakistan, it carries out its nefarious moves by adopting new methods.
