Asad Warsi, the corporation's adviser for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, said the corporation would soon start a new bio-CNG plant with a capacity of 20 tonnes, which would increase its annual revenue from waste to Rs. 100 million. Currently, private companies manufacturing bio-CNG, compost and other products through wet-dry waste processing pay the corporation Rs. 3 crore. The city generates 200 million liters of wastewater daily, of which 110 MLD is reused in public gardens, farms and construction activities.
