Indian Air Force receives two French Mirage-2000 series fighter jets




India's security has been beefed up with the addition of two French Mirage-2000 series fighter jets to the Air Force. Two French Mirage-2000 fighter jets landed at Gwalior airbase in Madhya Pradesh. India signed an agreement with France for the old aircraft.
At a time when tensions between India and China are running high, India is committed to continuously increasing its defense capabilities. On the one hand, Russia's S-400 missile defense system will be deployed in early 205. On the other hand, India has also got two Mirage-2000 fighter jets purchased from France. This will make the Indian Air Force stronger.
Agreement was reached between India and France for the old Mirage fighter jets. By upgrading these aircraft, India will make up for the loss of the number of aircraft that have become inoperable in the last 30 years. India is upgrading 21 Mirage fighter jets. As a result, India's Mirage range will now be as efficient as 203. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has been working with French Dassault for over a decade now.
Three squadrons of 21 Air Force Mirage fighter jets have been formed. Mirage aircraft have been part of the Indian Air Force since the 1960's. It has played a pivotal role ever since the Kargil War and even the Balakot Air Strike.
