Devotees will be able to travel to Kailash Mansarovar by car




Union Minister of State for Defense and Tourism Ajay Bhatt announced at a religious function in Gunji village in Pithoragarh district that Indian citizens will now be able to travel to Kailash Mansarovar by car.
According to the Union Minister, with the construction of roads on the Indo-China border, the journey to Kailash Mansarovar will now be easier. You can also travel to Mansarovar by car.
A budget of Rs 50 crore has been allotted for paved road from Ghatiyabagad to Lipulekh. He also said that the Border Roads Organization has made it possible to build roads in these inaccessible areas.
The Union Minister of State for Tourism and Defense added that the road would create employment opportunities for local villagers. Tourists will travel with the help of cars, which will create employment in the villages and improve the economic condition of the locals.
Gunji Kailash is an important place in the middle of the Mansarovar pilgrimage. This village of Pithoragarh district is situated at an altitude of 10 thousand feet. The Union Minister said that the government was committed to develop the village and its environs as a tourist destination.
