Congress will not form alliance in UP assembly polls: Priyanka

Congress will fight all the seats alone

The BJP is only targeting the Congress as we work: Priyanka's claim

Lucknow: Congress general secretary and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi on Sunday said that the Congress would contest the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections alone. This means that the Congress will not form an alliance with any party in Uttar Pradesh.

At the same time, Priyanka Gandhi questioned why the BJP, which has repeatedly targeted the Congress, does not target the Samajwadi Party and BSP in Uttar Pradesh and remains silent. The aspirations of the Congress remain aggressive on patriotism as not the SP and BSP but the Congress is fighting the real battle in Uttar Pradesh.

"Activists are saying not to form an alliance under any circumstances," Priyanka told a Congress pledge conference in Bulandshahr. I want to assure them that the Congress alone will contest all the seats in Uttar Pradesh. In this meeting, Priyanka Gandhi interacted with more than 7,000 office bearers from 14 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
