Canberra, Ta. 1 November 2021, Monday

The good news is that India is coming up with a biotech corona vaccine. The co-vaccine has not yet been approved by the World Health Organization but has been included in the list of approved vaccines by the Australian government.

The Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has approved the vaccine after investigating its effectiveness. The investigation examined the safety, quality and effectiveness of the vaccine.

Covexin manufactured by Bharat Biotech has been approved by Australia for passenger vaccination status. A number of vaccines have been approved by the TGA worldwide, including India's Covishield before the load. India's High Commissioner to Australia Barry O'Farel has given information about this.

The vaccine has received the green signal from the Australian government at a time when India's vaccine has been awaiting approval from the World Health Organization. The World Health Organization has asked for more information to approve this vaccine.

The global body says more information is needed. Based on this, the use of vaccines can be allowed. A meeting will be held on November 3 in which India Biotech vaccine covacin may be approved. On April 19 this year, an application was made by Bharat Biotech to the World Health Organization. The vaccine was developed by Bharat Biotech in association with the Indian Council of Medical Research.

Earlier, the co-vaccine was approved by the government of Oman.
