Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his 11th National Assembly address, announced the repeal of all the three agricultural laws. Afterwards, Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of the Indian Farmers' Union, said that the Prime Minister had announced the withdrawal of all the three laws but there was still a long way to go to form a committee on MSP and other issues including power amendment.

Rakesh Tikait said that the United Front is currently discussing the Prime Minister's announcement, the future strategy will be announced soon.

Prime Minister Modi announced the repeal of all the three agricultural laws during his national address on Friday morning. He said the process of withdrawing the laws would begin in the next session of Parliament.

During his address, the Prime Minister said, "I sincerely apologize to the countrymen and say that our efforts may have been lacking and we could not explain it to them. Today is Guru Nanakji's holy light festival. Today I have come to tell you that we All three have decided to withdraw their agricultural laws. The process of withdrawing all three agricultural laws will begin in the Parliament session starting later this month. I urge the farmers to go back to their homes and settle on their farms. "
