5 killed in road mishap on Yamuna Expressway

An uncontrollable bus near Milestone No. 71 of Yamuna Expressway at Thana Nauhazil in Mathura broke the divider and collided with another side car and overturned. The accident killed 4 people in the car and the driver of the bus. According to the police, the accident took place as the driver of the bus fell asleep.

The accident took place when an empty bus was traveling from Noida to Agra on Friday morning. An uncontrolled bus near Milestone 71 in Thana Nauhzil area broke the divider and reached the second line. At that time, he had an accident with a car going from Agra to Noida.

The accident was so severe that 4 people in the car and the driver of the bus died on the spot. Police, who reached the spot, with the help of Expressway personnel, pulled out the people trapped in the car and sent the bodies for postmortem.

The accident was followed by a traffic jam on one side of the Yamuna Expressway and police used cranes to move the damaged vehicles away.
